I just started reading this from Ch 30 after watching the anime. Are there any differences in Chapters 1-30 that I should know about? Any moments that weren't in the anime that I should go back and read?
i think some small moments adds up, but tbh the manga version of Yamihara is more bearable because of those small details. Other than that, there's not so much different IMO
the second hand embarassment might be unbearable icl
i agree the original artstyle was prettier but it looked pretty detailed so was probably too much work for the artist to keep up for every single chapter, i can respect their choice to change it

I don’t think that having to live with an extremely abusive and neglectful father who spent all of his money on drugs and a mother who abandoned him are exactly a “kinda” backstory. Like I agree that it doesn’t justify Jaekyung’s abuse against Dan and I wish Mingwa realize that, but that some’s very heavy shit.
when i said "kinda" it was mostly in a joking manner and commenting on the fact it wasn't properly discussed in the comic and it was merely used to give jk an excuse
And tbh nobody is gonna relate to jk, the story is rushed and badly written (specifically in those moments of abuse) and no abuse victim is gonna find relation with a rapist, me included.
