So the only reason Emel is engaged to Iris is because he is investigating something to do with the royal family’s debt is undercover. So Emel is using Iris. Later on Iris tries to switch souls with Estelle and succeeds. But everyone notices that Estelle isn’t Estelle. And end up killing Iris.

So what I’ve heard is that they defeat the empress in other words kill her. And at some point after they win they use the future emperor or current as a puppet for themselves since he wasn’t a good emperor. But when it comes to how everything is going to unfold I am not 100 percent sure. So it might unfold in a interesting way. But I’m not going to try to defend it since I’m considering quiting it. I also think it’s kinda slow rn but idk how it’s going to unfold later on. Sorry.
