The Higher Ups are karens 101 lol
Anyway, this is a pretty clear chapter. Not much confusing but whatever.
1. Inumaki's arm got cut by Sukuna's domain expansion.
2. They want to make jujutsu world a public thing because of the Shibuya incident.
3. Gojou is still sealed and got blamed by the higher ups pretty much just because he didnt contribute anything and disappeared FOR THEM
4. Principal with glasses got blamed because well pretty clear since Getou and Gojou are his disciples.
5. Yuji got blamed because of Sukuna. Poor Yuji :(...... Cant take a break even after Nanami and Nobara...... (Well Nobara's status isnt clear yet but Nanami sure is a horizontal Marco now)
6. Yuuta.........why........why :(
"Uh......uh....yeah.....ok"
This is like me trying to understand the plot.
Cmiiw, so basically
Noritoshi Kamo a.k.a the brain guy like he is just a brain now and borrowing Getou's body, wants to make humanity can all optimizing cursed techniques; basically becoming jujutsu sorcerers. (You know advancing humanity and evolution or some shit idk)
However outside Japan, without Tengen's barrier help, it's hard to optimize cursed techniques. Only the citizens of Japan who have the capability to optimize cursed techniques without Tengen's barrier help.
Therefore its kind of unrealistic and contradicting since Jujutsu college is like in the same side as Tengen and the brain guy is opposing/fighting the Jujutsu College. (And probably the people outside Japan wont just keep vibing. They know Japan is massive in terms of cursed techniques and jujutsu sorcerer. If they know Japan be plotting something evil regarding these, they be running searching for Kim Jong Un)
The brain guy is waking up or you could say awakening people who have been marked by him via Mahito's cursed techniques. Awakennng in here is kind of not clear since it could basically just awakening the power he gave or awakening the person (or people) itself.
(Basically he be slapping the people's souls and tell em "WAKE UP BITCH, ITS TIME!")
People who have been marked by him fall into two categories:
1. People who ingested a cursed object or absorbed a cursed object like Yuji (the cursed object can be anything ya know, not only Sukuna's fingers). They have given the power to be a vessel like Yuji, basically the power to maintain and use(?) the cursed object without having the cursed spirit inside it taking over.
2. People who has cursed techniques but have the brain of non-jujutsu sorcerer? Idk, its either doesnt have the capability/ability/capacity of using cursed techniques or they just too dumb to understand/use/mastering cursed techniques like me (example: Junpei). They have given the capability/ability/capacity to used cursed techniques, basically he be giving magical sticks to those people and they become mahou shoujo. (Tsumiki, Megumi's sister, might falls into this category. Or maybe she is something more special later on)
And then the brain guy is unlocking/opening/releasing/breaking (idk whats the correct word) cursed objects' seals that he have been ingesting it to people.
Regarding the 'vow' thing, basically he vowed or basically made a contract with many jujutsu sorcerers regarding the cursed objects he ingested.
You know the type of vow like:
"I will never open this cursed object seal" or something like that less or more or maybe another thing.
Breaking the vow is like you know you are cursed or witched entirely or even much greater penalties awaits considering he be making lots of vows. (Its possible like ya know this is supernatural. Probs vows reinforced with cursed techniques or vow-type cursed techniques)
However, the vows become null when he obtained Getou's body meaning he can break any vows he made. Basically like escaping from FBI's watch after getting arrested for lolis or shotas.
Annnddd The Golden Age of Cursed Techniques which is the Heian period? Idk i have been writing this shit for too long. Yeah, its basically the age when humanity optimized cursed techniques the most or basically at its peak. Considering there are a lot of jujutsu sorcerers, cursed spirits and well duh Sukuna himself is alive at that time.
And ig thats it? Feel free to fill me in or correct me. Sorry for the typos and grammaticaly incorrect basically bad grammar lol
uhmm, hello. I didn't finish reading you comment because it was too long but you can watch here https://youtu.be/D0dk-wvcFM0 for some enlightenment ig

Am I going crazy or this whole arc just doesn't make sense?

Sure, I already know that this manhwa has questionable pacing since like the beginning. I was willing to overlook it since the plot has been interesting so far despite its clearly lackluster pacing. However, this recent arc's pacing is probably the most frustrating one so far. I don't know if its because its an adaptation or this is just an original manhwa that the author cannot just do a proper pacing.
This whole arc is meant to make Marduna the main push of Junho's heroine without any proper setup, no doubt about it. After all, there is little to no development at all between Junho and Marduna, aside from Marduna carrying Ah-young with mother imagery. Not to mention, this recent arc's problem started because of Kapar going on a rampage due to jealousy (clearly). However, starting from chapter 35, it has been ??????????. Junho suddenly getting suspicious of Marduna for no reason at all? Him suddenly pulling out her notebook filled with monster drawings as evidence which have never appeared at all before??? (Maybe this part is something that I have forgotten or perhaps this detail is something that has appeared before but the manhwa just glossed it over like the awful pacing it has and I just forgot about it IDK). THEN, they pulled out and danced around it because suddenly they remembered it wouldn't be logical at all if Junho suddenly starts liking Marduna cause he already has a wife. THEN WHAT THE FUCK IS THE POINT OF THIS WHOLE ARC???
Yes, it is indeed logical that Junho acted like this in the recent chapter. Yes, if they want to make Marduna the main heroine, then both Junho and Marduna should be given room for development in the future since Junho still has a wife he's currently, being one of the major plots that has been established since the beginning of this manhwa. THEN WHY THIS ARC EXISTS????? This recent arc just has no point at all whatsoever other than FORCING Marduna to become the main heroine without proper development between her and Junho. WHY suddenly the author is backing out from it when CLEARLY THEY REALLY WANT to make(force) Marduna the main heroine?????
(Aside from the tangent, just a bit disclaimer, yes I know that this recent arc has other points like delving into father-children relationship through Kapar & her father as well as Baldmon's past. This would have been a stellar arc since, you know, this whole manhwa is about a DAD thrown into a novel with his DAUGHTER.)
