Am I going crazy or this whole arc just doesn't make sense?

Sure, I already know that this manhwa has questionable pacing since like the beginning. I was willing to overlook it since the plot has been interesting so far despite its clearly lackluster pacing. However, this recent arc's pacing is probably the most frustrating one so far. I don't know if its because its an adaptation or this is just an original manhwa that the author cannot just do a proper pacing.

This whole arc is meant to make Marduna the main push of Junho's heroine without any proper setup, no doubt about it. After all, there is little to no development at all between Junho and Marduna, aside from Marduna carrying Ah-young with mother imagery. Not to mention, this recent arc's problem started because of Kapar going on a rampage due to jealousy (clearly). However, starting from chapter 35, it has been ??????????. Junho suddenly getting suspicious of Marduna for no reason at all? Him suddenly pulling out her notebook filled with monster drawings as evidence which have never appeared at all before??? (Maybe this part is something that I have forgotten or perhaps this detail is something that has appeared before but the manhwa just glossed it over like the awful pacing it has and I just forgot about it IDK). THEN, they pulled out and danced around it because suddenly they remembered it wouldn't be logical at all if Junho suddenly starts liking Marduna cause he already has a wife. THEN WHAT THE FUCK IS THE POINT OF THIS WHOLE ARC???

Yes, it is indeed logical that Junho acted like this in the recent chapter. Yes, if they want to make Marduna the main heroine, then both Junho and Marduna should be given room for development in the future since Junho still has a wife he's currently, being one of the major plots that has been established since the beginning of this manhwa. THEN WHY THIS ARC EXISTS????? This recent arc just has no point at all whatsoever other than FORCING Marduna to become the main heroine without proper development between her and Junho. WHY suddenly the author is backing out from it when CLEARLY THEY REALLY WANT to make(force) Marduna the main heroine?????

(Aside from the tangent, just a bit disclaimer, yes I know that this recent arc has other points like delving into father-children relationship through Kapar & her father as well as Baldmon's past. This would have been a stellar arc since, you know, this whole manhwa is about a DAD thrown into a novel with his DAUGHTER.)
