Many long running manga at one point will have rumours that it will ended in few more years yada yada cause they reach climax already. But not this series. It's like Detective Conan. Endless. You can throw and add anything to the plot.
It's anticlimactic??? Just like that? No tearful goodbye.... Maybe we will get closer in the extra or something.
I watch the anime first in 2018, then read the manga. So it's been 7-8 years journey for me. So i'm not that emotional for the last chapter. I like it, but not to the point where i will re-read it once or twice a year from the 1st chapter. It just something i read. But i rewatch the anime many times though. It's so cute and refreshing. Their gang and adventures in earlier chapters, where it's not as serious and deep as it's goes further.
Maybe for the person who have been following this manga since the begining, it's must painful for them.

Hinako left the necklace and a diary/novel she write for Hina so that she can remember her adventures. I think they told the truth as a story to their daughter (Hina's grandma). I don't know how they knew that Hina is their descendant, but Hinako is happy to be able to meet with Hina again when she was born. Saying something like "long time no see".
Currently the raw i found only 1 chapter ahead from the update. Maybe it will ended in less than 3-5 chapters. Perhaps 1 more chapter. It will ended this year.
