Does anyone else feel like the Professor was more interested in Jiheon? I'm not claiming there was strong evidence but when they first met up, just the way he watched Jiheon and even the way he interfered with them a lot by sprinkling info, it didn't seem like he was that into Wooju tbh. It seemed like he even looked down on Wooju too. Everything felt too calculated and I hate when there's an unnecessary fake love triangle.

I think so too. I believe he said he doesnt prefer omegas and the guys built that came for his rut looked like he was at least an alpha or a beta
However, I hate when they become such a doormat character to the point that everybody just walks over them for some 50 some chapters or more. The second hand embarrassment is too much. I like that he's honest and loyal, but it gets to a point where it's just plain torture. I know this plot is gonna have the leader regretting so bad but not once did I really feel like anybody was sincere towards him besides glasses guy. Overall, I do like this trope, just hate it when nobody has any consideration at all for the main character. I do see the leader slowly realizing but not realizing that he actually likes the main character but please...with the way he acts towards the main character, I'm getting the vibe that the main character is just a side character really. He's there but he's not.
i think you’ll understand the MC’s character once his backstory is out. it’s quite heavy

MC does not really know what it means to be loved, or cared about because he’s an orphan, plus he suffered abuse from his previous esper. he was practically locked up. blamed for something he didn’t do and was treated worse than an animal. the one person who showed him kindness died in front of him along with his abuser. he didn’t get the chance to grow up normally both physically and mentally that’s why his attitude or personality is not really strong. he got easily attached to ML and the reason is obvious. he was imprisoned, no one to teach him the basics, all he knows is that he is inferior.
