I feel like Sunhwa and Mokyeon deserved everything they got while Nanjo, I don’t even know what to say about him. I understand that the human mind can be manipulated no matter the circumstances but he must’ve been wanting to fulfill something deep down inside of himself(no pun intended) that he was willing to agree to all of this. The threesome, the deal, the abuse. Because I don’t believe for one second he did all this just to protect Sunhwa. Something is fishy.
Maybe he's lowkey an M? I mean based on everything, agreeing to things he didn't like just because the guy he was with asked. Like he just likes being told what to do? But to be fair, he did rail on mok out of frustration that the guy he was with was hurt because he momentarily followed mok. Idk, maybe he just wanted to play around with them too? He's in a high position at work so it's not like he'd be so unaware of what was going on. He very well could be a down-low M with a tendency to spend lavishly on his partner. I could be far off though, I mean, he was clearly angry with Mok at the beginning... and now its hard to tell if he's trying to make mok feel like he lost him, or is just wanting space? Or is actually not interested anymore? But wait, can I mention, Mok really out there not respecting himself right now in my opinion. Like, I know he likes nanjo, but is he really gonna not care he got railed on ? And why did he go to a fancy hotel yelling and not even covering up his injuries? Better yet, why didn't he bother tending to the wounds? It all still looks fresh? Like how you gonna go confess still freshly injured? I feel like if he took better care of himself and let everyone rest and like breathe, the conversations would go better maybe? I guess he's just really desperate. But desperate for what? Nanjo is just a guy he met through his friend. He's not the only person in the world... even if he's his first love(?) I don't feel like it makes sense. He deliberately tricked nanjo, basically betrayed his friend and then disregarded his own personal wellbeing just to chase someone who doesn't seem to care about him at all...just feels wrong somehow. I heard a analysis that , Nanjo must also be using both of them to explore his sexuality cuz he literally had power to cut off both mom and sunhwa .

Idk how to feel about this pair. The mc was a cool character from the og story but the ml was sort of a villain(ish) character. Idk maybe i’m just salty for what he did to Youngjin(og story mc)
Even if Yeomin was given the scholarship because of his favoritism, he genuinely deserves it. Despite his tough situations, he still pursues his education even if he’s barely getting by, overworking himself and being gossiped about by other classmates. And it’s not a competition of who has it the hardest and therefore, they deserve it. We know he’s caring and is a hard worker. Whoever gets the scholarship should have those exact qualities. And the fact that one guy is questioning why the poor guys life seems so much better and therefore, he must investigate on why? He’s never cared about him besides pitying him. The author just wants Yeomin to go through major ups, downs, ups and then DOWN again. . But this will really test the loyalty of his new friends too
Fun fact: the scholarship program was created just for yeomin. So they even have no right to call it favoritism. Although they don’t know that. I’m just happy our baby yeomin doesn’t really care about what they think of him

Exactly lmao this specific scholarship wasn’t even a thing until ML had them create it just for Yeomin’s sake since he knew he’d be too proud to take it or feel too guilty and worry about paying him back so he’d just continue working himself to death. ML just wants him to focus on school n enjoy being young while he can cause he’s had it so hard and this lil jealous jerk is sticking his nose where it doesn’t belong. Why can’t everyone leave our poor puppy alone n let him be happy?
It’s crazy how he ended up with a wife who is capable of handling his personality and an adorable child. The fact that he could have acted differently and ended up having a genuine relationship with Momo(pr even his wife) but due to his own weakness, he could not. Luckily, Momo is truly happy and in love now.
