I've always avoided the live adaptation because I thought it wouldn't bring anything new since I read the manhwa a long time ago. But I was so wrong. Maybe I'm just used to Japanese BL adaptations that closely follow the manga, but KBLs just hit differently. I love how they add their own personal touches instead of following the original story scene by scene. It makes the whole experience feel fresh while still staying true to what made me love it in the first place. And the actors? Their chemistry is SO good. They made me fall in love with the story all over again. I even reread the manhwa because I couldn't get enough of it.
Just watched the first episode of the live adaptation then I discovered that it has manga. Might as well read this before continuing watching to know what I'm getting myself into. I do not usually read bl stories with ratings below 9 cuz I've got high standards lol but this one is an exception cuz I really really want to continue watching the series. I am so glad I dared myaelf to read this! Love the story so much and insane writing! Also, that last chapter with Akira's former friend, I wonder it they adapted it too in the series cuz I would love it if they did. Let's not talk about that tutor. It's a good thing the two never went all the way but as an adult, he should have refused the young Akira. I have read so many stories whose character fell in love with unreachable guy so they sort to someone else close to them that's why I can tolerate the PDF in this story but I don't think other people can so just skip it if you can. Anyways, it's too short! And I thank myself for reading this cuz now I can watch the series with peace of mind lol. I'll be coming here after hehehehe
I just finished the drama and I'm sad they didn't included the last part. But they were so cute!!! Putting it instant in my favorite jbl list WAAHHHH. Kanata's words are so beautiful. Another character added in my ideal list lmao. I wish they have special episode. It was so short!!
Can't believe the author's other work titled The Servant Prince got the adaptation first than this one. And it's not even here for me to read waaahhh

I know Mr. Park is going to do something based on that look he had in Chapter 48. As much as I love that Yeomin's life is finally a little easier and that he can breathe now, keeping everything to himself sucks. He deserves to be informed, you know?

Just binge-read after binge-watching the series lol. I went into it thinking there was no way the series could top the manhwa, especially since I’m usually more attached to the original story. And yeah… I was right, but not because the series was bad. It’s actually really good! I just wish they hadn’t changed or omitted some of the scenes I was especially looking forward to seeing come to life. The casting, though? SO GOOD. Everyone fits their characters so well, especially Jay. Toptap is literally his spitting image, GOSH I am really happy that they somehow did the adaptation well. Way to prove haters lol. I just witnessed the amount of hate when it was announced that this story will be having an adaptation mainly because it is a thai adaptation. I don't really think much about that that tine cuz I'm on break on bl series that time and ain't planning to watch it but because I'l curious how they did adapted it, I came to watch and love it as well.
But even with how good the adaptation is, I think I’m still more drawn to the manhwa. Maybe because some of the dialogue in the series didn’t quite carry the same weight for me. There were emotions I felt so deeply while reading that just didn’t hit the same way when I heard them in the series.
And maybe it’s because I see a little bit of myself in Yoohan. I’ve been struggling with this feeling for years, and honestly, I don’t even know what to call it. That’s probably why some of his lines hit me harder than I expected, especially his words as the office worker who attempted. The idea that if someone can still find even the smallest bit of joy in their life, then they deserve to live...
Because I’m still here doing exactly that, trying to find little reasons to keep living even though I don’t have a goal in life. I don’t know what I’m living toward yet, and maybe that’s okay. Maybe having something to look forward to doesn’t always have to be some huge dream or purpose. Maybe sometimes, finding one small thing that makes you want to stay is enough. I think that’s what this story reminded me of. Sometimes you don’t need to know where your life is going to choose to stay for another day.
