As an art student - a post-graduate artist . . . I feel that the first chapter really hit me hard. I can totally understand. The art world is very competitive and being surrounded by students who are doing extremely well really puts your soul down. It's an even worse feeling when the art students who didn't even produce passable assignments would be praised instead and some even got careers at big name companies. Reading this really makes me feel more down and depressed with where I am in my life as of now ... but I won't let it keep me low as I will continue to work hard and do better!
