This plot isn garbage. And I’ll argue BJ Alex is too. This author can’t write for shit actual “human characters” but you know that’s the case for most of BL in general. Beautiful art will supersede any actual ‘realism’ or believable characterization. Fuck out of here with the” both sides”. You fell in love with your abusive rapist, and then the rapist cried. That’s the whole story. That’s all this author knows how to write about and by god she’s making funny off it, I clearly chose wrong on what I should have pursued in life.
True. I think a lot of the most famous BL stories include scenes of r*pe or ab*se towards the uke. And at the end of the story, they're always forgiven. But hey, it's still fiction. My favorites will always be the green flag ones anyway; I love stories with healthy relationships.
