I think Yashiro is probably trying to protect Doumeki bc he doesn't believe or is not sure he'll leave alive. He wants Doumeki to live bc he loves him. Doumeki is clearly very head strong and so Yashiro decided to shoot him to finally keep him at bay.

They are in a dangerous world at the end of the day. Ryuuzaki followed orders to shoot Yashiro, but still did so with the condition that his Bullet didn't hit any vital organs in order to save him from Hirata. Sometimes they have to do cruel things in order to be kind.

I felt sick for at least half of it. Very good. I wish the ending was a little more focused on the three of them though.
