From what I can tell they had a past they bonded like romantically i think but conflict ensues the seme almost dies after recovering wants to bring in the uke but uke refuses cuz mafia years later they reunite when semes business partner turns out to be the uke he met before and theres some kinda business deal and they start a relationship but things are complicated also the stepson is kinda the villain here idk but the uke seems to have some kinda resolve to be something that we have yet to uncover

Imma be honest I feel like I understand but at the same time its kinda uhhhhhhhhhh okay most of the time

yes to pretty much everything you said, i think uke has some past resentment bc seme promised to come back for him after an incident but never did bc seme was injured and recovering from said incident, ig uke thought he took too long or forgot about him

stepson (weird) comes from some previous old gang member (i think his son?) who buys uke, basically married him and uke got the inheritance once he died and thus his weird relationship with the stepson

now, as mentioned, the uke and seme are in a "marriage of convenience/contracted marriage" relationship, or in this case engagement. and seme is now catching feelings for uke, uke's feelings are uhh kinda unknown still?

It's mutual love but it's mutually fucked up, uke's deeply in love with seme but bc he felt betrayed and abandoned by seme + seme seems to have had outward resentment towards him, uke sort of "acts out for attention" kind of thing + he's mentally unwell and traumatized, so it's tumultuous. Seme has probably always been in love but only recently has he started to come to terms with it
