wow what a way to ruin a really nice dynamic
that was shown early on. At this point the angst is too much for was dohu did, yes it wasn’t right, but all of this now seems so useless for what happened. They had a cute dynamic were sex was enjoyable for both of them (which sadly was uncommon in a lot of bl) only for it to switch and it’s just sad. I’ll let these episodes marinate for a bit, but i used to be excited for these chapters now i’m not.
I’m sorry to the author but they’re really butchering the story, i reread the older chapters and its night and day, again, for what happened all of this seems unwarranted but idk

i love this story but the way i couldn’t give a fuuuuuuhhhhhhh about noa’s storyline, so much so when i re read it i literally just skip her scenes all together i really didn’t care about her at alllllll
this story really is just dragging, i feel like we have so many chapters where the plot barely moves. From chapter 1 to now it still feels like most of the conflicts we’ve had haven’t resolved and yes of course we need to have room for characters to grow and change but… these characters have stayed the same and besides the fact that the two leads had sex agesssss ago, their dynamic hasn’t changed much.
I feel like there was so much potential but i’m growing tired of reading a new chapter and ending it with nothing happening
i’ve went back a few chapters and i want to know if anyone can still summarise why yunho is upset with haewon??? is it because he feels like haewon doesn’t like him as much as he likes haewon? or is it that he doesn’t trust haewons feelings for him?? he’s pushing him away for what??? idk im lost for some reason

hiii so i used to be obsessed with this manhwa for a long time, i used to wait for updates down to the minute it dropped but around the 80-90 chapter mark i found myself not enjoying it, i simultaneously felt like so much was happening in the plot to where it was kinda difficult to keep up with weekly BUT at the same time i felt like the plot wasn’t moving much to progress forward. All of this to say that it’s been a while since i kept up so i wanted to know if it’s worth it to pick it up again?
I just dont want to read 80ish chapters only to be thinking the same thing i thought before
obviously i love how the author has improved but i feel like dohu looks so different… i liked the more simple style the previous art had but obviously im not complaining bc its not like a complete 180 just a little jarring after having just binged from the beginning
also… i love the short choppy hair on dohu i feel like some people are so boring and always want the mc and ml to have the same typical korean beauty standard look and i thought his og character design was refreshing ☹ ill get over it tho

i hate when writers just add sex scenes as an excuse to not write feelings showing up organically. I would’ve waited at least 10 chapters for eunsan to see ian in a sexual way, bc tbh up until now eunsan wasn’t even looking at him in anyway other than an old friend. Give it like 10 chapters and give us moments where maybe eunsan looks at ian and thinks he looks good, then maybe he starts to realize he likes when ian touches him, stuff like that. It just feels so out of nowhere when for the past couple of chapters eunsan gave no indication he would be doing that with ian

the actual story is fun, a girl who maybe was overwhelmed by her boyfriends affection for her ends up breaking up with him, but because they didn’t fall out of love still hook up with each other, is fun in theory. The problem is that the pacing is so weird, we are just jumping around and i think some people say it’s the translations but honestly i think it’s just how the story is. One minute mc and her ex are talking then it cuts to them having sex, then we’re back in her home talking to her childhood friend, then we’re back in school. The longest segments are the sex scenes and everything else is like 3 frames as most.
but is it confirmed that sir gordon is ash’s dad? bc if it is that means that the mom did cheat and the dad was right bc obviously ash looks exactly like sir gordon but she also told ash that painting he wanted a painting of when her and ash’s dad met or something. I feel so dumb so can anyone clarify
i personally became interested in this story bc they were short anthologies that told a message in a short about of time and then moved on… but my god this story has been going on for weeks and i feel like nothing has happened, we could cut out 5-7 chapters and it would still make sense. It’s not like this plot so far is so complex and intricate that it has to be the exception to the rule the story set for itself that it needs to be long. I think the author just really likes this story and instead of just creating its own separate comic is instead just stretching what was once and really compelling start to a story, as far as they can.
i can’t be the only one that thinks this lame, it works if they’re childhood friends but the whole they were close as kids but then grew up and forgot each other is just an easy way for authors to have an easy connection instead of developing a the romance
not in a weird/creepy way but i like how the sex scenes between the couple are enthusiastically consensual. Other smut stories will have the receiver being like “no” “stop” “slow down” etc but i do weird bc it’s supposed to be implied that they want to do it but they are constantly telling their partner to stop. Where as this couple and actually most if not all of this authors work is very much both of them have no fun and wanting to have sex which is just refreshing.
I feel like in the original they did such a good job of showing the couples relationship, in some bl they just have the characters have sex as a way to build their relationship. Sometimes i’ll read a story and i would think, why do they even like each other? they have nothing in common and just have sex. The OG story showed them going out on dates and talking and I can actually see how they fell or each other bc they established a great foundation, but this sequel… just kinda shat on all of that. Like they are fighting over petty things for no reason, and really seem so disconnected from the og writing, personally i just think that the author wanted to write a sequel and continue the story more but couldn’t figure out how to get the plot going so they kinda had to retcon previous characterization to get that and just almost create a new couple
