I keep seeing so many comments trying to justify support of Yahwi because even though he’s a toxic rapist, he’s fictional. And obvi that means people can ship it and not feel like it’s f*cked up. Here’s my issue with that. There’s this constant defense and romanticization of toxic and abusive relationships in yaoi comics and it feels like in recent years it’s become the norm. Obviously everyone is entitled to their own opinion and we all know this is a fictional story with a very thin plot and mostly about the sex. But why are some of you attracted to the character that’s abusing the MC? Why do you find that hot? That’s the problem. Because no matter what you say you’re internalizing this behavior. And based on the comments I feel like a lot of you are younger. Like under 23. Cain is literally the human reincarnation of a loyal “man’s best friend” but people find him sus. Yahwi tried to pay Jooin for sex, raped him when he was unconscious, coerced him into BDSM, abandoned him when he was outed to his entire Uni and repeatedly ignores what he wants and dismisses Jooin’s anger. But he’s given the benefit of the doubt. Because he’s rich/hot and doesn’t know how to “properly express himself” right? Because he’s getting better and changing right? Which means you’re attracted to rich/powerful men who treat you like trash because maybe one day they can learn. That’s a problem. Periodt.

It's tiring seeing all these stories with horrible love interests that do horrible things but they're attractive so people just ignore it and wait for "character development" and I know that they're fictional but it's still sad to see people look over rape or abuse and some even blame the mc

i'm teamcain but people can be attracted to yahwi just because his looks are their type and that's okay cause it's fiction. i find it problematic that yall are so eager to call people rape apologists, liking a character doesn't mean you have to support their actions especially in this poorly written wattpad fanfic of a story that people only read for the good art and smut. i agree that trying to justify his actions is bs but yall should stop insulting people just for saying they're team yahwi. i'm attracted to johan liebert, does that mean i support mass murder? hell no. it's mainly because of his looks, VA and the mysterious aura. you can't tell me you've never been attracted to a villain even once in your life

Unlike “A guy like you” their relationship in their childhood wasn’t that deep. I was expecting something similar to the other story but it seems like they just met after school a few times and never really spent any time together outside of that. Yahwi doesn’t even seem concerned with Jooin remembering who he is either. Yahwi treats him like sh*t and only started being slightly nicer when Cain got closer and started defending Jooin. I just want to prepare my heart cause I feel like Cain is going to lose but I just can’t get into the relationship between Jooin and Yahwi. What does he see in him? Like what does he even like about Yahwi other than he’s hot? Cain’s attractive too and taller lol so I don’t get it!!! Maybe it’s because Cain already said he’s going to leave Korea so Yahwi is a more stable option even though he’s trash?

Those questions do get answered later so I wonder if more people will eventually come to the Cain team. Cause if you’re not reading the raws I can see how Cain might seem sus. But he’s not he’s a sweetheart that just wants to see Jooin happy.

I’m loving all this Yahwi hate I’m seeing cause seriously at this point I feel like he’s just being an a**hole because Jooin put his foot down and stopped taking his BS. But GUYS...GUUUYYYSS regardless of who he ends up with IF WE DONT GET MORE SEME JOOIN I WILL RIOT. The plot of this story is so slow and isn’t written well at all so all that I ask is the writer make seme Jooin a reality. I didn’t know I needed it till this chapter OMFG.

To the new people thinking about reading this, don’t pay attention to the comment section and check it out. This manhwa is very well written especially for a yaoi. The characters can be frustrating at times but their personalities feel so real and the story itself is a good plot. The comment section is a mess because we’ve been debating how the story would end for almost 3 years. Sh*t got heated but the story itself is a good read.
I kinda felt bad for Joohyun but it doesn’t excuse what he’s doing. Also like how do we know he’s not lying since it’s him telling his own backstory. IDK I just feel like if it was a big misunderstanding they’ve had literal decades to clear that up. Why try to kill him and Sooin.
Can we get back to killing the abusive ex-boyfriend instead please?
