Side note: I really need Lee to get over himself, 3 full seasons of watching this man care about nothing but himself and his feelings. I hate MCs like this. If I didn’t get this cliffhanger I would have stopped reading henceforth because of no one other than this selfish MC bro. I’ve stuck around this long for the beautiful green flag guide in the story and that’s it. If only the MC could pull his dead out of his ass and do the same.Lol
I personally love MCs like him reminds me of that MC in Slow Damage, very self-destructive but makes for good story in charac development XD
I do love me some character development. But 3 full seasons and bro still makes the same mistakes and has made little to no progress with getting over his trauma and embracing his tru feelings. If I even got a little bit of progress with his mental health I wouldn’t be as annoyed. It’s like..how is he a badass S class esper, but a bottom is always a bottom, weak. I need me a strong hot power bottom who craves attention, he has the potential, not what this is. XD this is more so my preference, so everyone who likes him is also valid imo.
If ur looking for a bad ass power bottom with mental issues that don't drag them, I fear Taegun is not what you're looking for XD We've been reading for 3 seasons so you'd think readers know he's avoidant & needs therapy. I'd say he's more realistic (but ofc some readers don't like that) bcoz u don't overcome trauma, it can resurface until ur back to square one again. Totally valid being frustrated esp when he's not the charac you've envisioned. Also a bottom doesn't mean being weak but it also doesn't mean that all power bottoms should just be a bad ass Gary Stu. Saying that was unnecessary imo
I’m more talking on the cliche of bottoms always being the weakest in some way. Not that I myself view bottoms to always be weak, I just feel they are more often than not portrayed to be the weaker one. Like even in the aspect of a character like Lee that even tho he is the strongest character known in the comic, he is still portrayed to be weaker because of his mental health. Which most bottoms are portrayed that way, mentally and physically, or just mentally weak. All im saying is I was hoping for more progress in this comic without the cliche lasting this long. I would like to see a mentally unstable person get the proper care by accepting help for once and growing in that aspect than staying mentally weak just for drama and entertainment. I don’t find it that entertaining. And yeah I could stop reading it for that, but other aspects of the story are still good and it’s why I keep reading, also in the hopes that eventually Lee will get to where he needs to be.
