I believe in the naming ceremony the leader engraves the name in their eyes when they’re born but since he’s half the leader didn’t want to when that happens their eyes turn red so I think since someone gave him the name but not the ceremony to engrave it it’s incomplete but he’s just happy to have one so I guess he’s fine with it
