I get that this is a classic shoujo trope where the MC is all bubbly, cute in the way that they can get away with saying cheesy lines aimed to "move" the ML and is the only one special enough to stand by the ML's side without getting hurt but did they really have to make him look like a middle schooler? Seriously? It just feels so wrong in this context.
BL story - fairly recent - Sadomasochism - one of the guy has lost the ability to feel pain and so goes around creating situations that ends up with him getting beat or worse. Comes across this other guy, who's a possible sadist, joins an organization and everything to get close to him only to get dissapointed after learning that this other guy hates his sadistic side as well as losing control. The latest chapter that I remember reading about has Masochistic person get clean about his motives and tries his very best to provoke the Sadism in the other, goinh as far as to fuck him(roughly) but the guy refuses to budge and even lets him do as he pleases.
Quite the dark one but the settin and the story-telling has me quite curious to know what happens to it.
Let me know if this feels familiar to you. Thanks!
The novel is a lot better and far more consistent. In the manga, they seem to have skipped a few dialogues and scenes. It is a pity, truly, for such a good novel. I would highly recommend reading that.
Thank you so much for recommending the novel! I just finished reading it all in one sitting and had an absolute blast. The main character was such a lovable idiot, I couldn’t stop laughing, and the male lead? A whole green forest. Grounding, gentle, and the kind of presence that puts you at ease. I adored them both! I'm really going to miss them.
I'm truly glad you enjoyed it. Absolutely agreed
I love novels too, but I also love this manhwa.Overall, the novel has a lot more detail.
