cw you can skip chapter 6 entirely in Checkmate, it's completely unnecessary.
I also really like Painter of the Night , Silent Lover and Steel under Silk personnally (historical+ ennemies to lovers) but there are rapey scenes so these ones should all come with a cw. I feel it's okay because the uke has the guts to be bold and true to his instincts of preservation and the seme isn't cruel. I feel the way it's written speaks to my gut instincts in a good way. These ones are '' cinderella tales but darker '' kind of stories ?? Definitely good character+relationship developments.
