There's no way the creator ended on purpose here after having so many unresolved plots. All those system mechanics of the actors being the best fit for the drama was used ONCE. The romance was so left field especially since we barely explored FL's self-doubt in writing before suddenly she's not introspective and it never has to be addressed again. The rookie writer who finally got to write with her idol and was clearly desperate for some kind of validation, never explored. Big writer being accused of stealing a work when her bestie suffered the same action has no resolution. Rookie genius actor never appears after being in reality show. All the PD-nims who want to work with the ML suddenly don't matter. The big bad villain defeated by ONE TV SHOW??? when his actions led to a character passing off-screen? Author/Artist must have been given the cut or told they couldn't continue.
All the women and men were getting harder to distinguish, all the same vibe and look. The last few chapters the art suddenly looked hella bubbly cute, every eye and face shape suddenly chibified and round. THEIR HEIGHTS ARE DIFFERENT. When they're standing in a scene together they aren't the same height as previous panels. Like, what happened.
The worst part of the world merge is that he completely loses his progress in his quests and power building. He doesn't have his items, hasn't used his powers really, is more conscious of his morality than going "big", and the guy who literally cringed at any female is suddenly with a chick who clearly is going to have a savior complex with him. Why did we suddenly turn to more common trope???
I like the manga but the longer I read the more I would recommend the novel. There's so many missing details. Understandable because it's dense with SeoJun's thoughts but so many character driven moments.
I tried reading the novel but this time i prefer the manhwa. The manhwa team did a great job at compacting the story and showing the cool acting and cute expressions. I agree that novels usually have more details but for a light kinda like slice-of-life heartwarming story like this one, i enjoy the manhwa more, I don't care much about the acting details that can be too wordy or unnecessary
Is this AI? Both main characters face and bodies are different shapes and sizes every chapter. A lot of the time, MC eyes are misaligned. It's like it should be the same art and character but it's just different enough that it doesn't look right.
I went back to check. The first chapter, every panel featuring MCs chest is a different size and shape. The MLs fingers (child holding bookbin second chapter first ish page), one hand is pale the other tan. They're two different sizes (like fat fingers vs skinny ones). Theres extra lines and weird proportions on faces, shoulder sizes, everything. What the fuck is this
I was thinking ai too, in the first chapter where she sits on his bed half turned torwards him her left arm just kinda merges into her body, her right arm is too long, and her hair also just becomes shirt in places. I also noted the assymetrical hands and his muscles are all over the places; in one panel his neck muscles go off in two different directions.
Ive read many webtoons from beginner artists, and there's sort of a *look* to it, usually they have overly stiff poses/expressions. And yeah proportions will be off, but they'll often be consistently off; an artist might draw necks too thick or they cant draw a 3/4 profile to save their lives, but i dont think ive seen any artist who draws torsos with completely assymetrical muscles.
Its a shame cause the story seemed right up my alley, but the sus art completely took me out of it
There's not just the weird love triangle, this whole story is harem vibes with "the one who got away". So annoying. Is his future ex wife constantly here to remind us he liked that kind of nonsense before and now he's fighting himself to not like her and/or be a trash human being?? Idk. Not really melodramatic not really acting/entertainment focused. A chaotic mix. And this man's jaw line gets thicker in every chapter. One page he looks like a completely different person??! Sigh
The art is alright but damn, as an actual introvert I would actually get turned off if my partners were this chatty. I like my peace and quiet. And the fact that the chatter is all about them one upping each other? Hell the fuck no. They intoxicate her and grape her. Bruh, she's dickmatized. Girl needs other poly adjacent peeps to know this shit ain't it. I understand the thirst is real but I can't believe any romantic chemistry is here. The story should have ended more firmly in the "wow I do love getting dicked" or "damn, I have a great fuckbuddies setup".
Why is s2 so different from s1? S1 has memorable MC and side characters, the plot and art was distinctive and then S2 comes around and it's every chapter has a female character standing around saying his name, what happened????
I dropped this after season 2 started. The reason for it was that I read the novel. It's one of the fanservice heaviest Stories I ever sat through, but that was, because it's a great book aside from that. I immediately saw the changes done, even in season 1, but much more severe from the very first chapter of season 2. When they literally created logic and continuity issues later down the line in just a couple of chapters, I booked it for good. I'll go on pretending they dropped it after season 1.
Read the novel, it's gonna be much more fun.
I started this way back when it first dropped, then switched to the novel bc I didn’t want to wait….best fucking decision. I caught the differences immediately. This is so trash compared to the novel. One of my best scenes of all time comes from the novel, and I’ve read thousands of books at this point in my life. The part where humanity finally stepped up to help. Freaking beautiful .

So satisfying~
