i feel like they could’ve resolved this when dohu was outside of juheons old apartment and he found him.
if i’m being honest because it’s taking so long for them to resolve things i don’t even feel bad for juheon anymore. this whole arc has been dohu pining over him and juheon giving us crumbs in secret. i don’t feel the angst or the emotion anymoreeeeeee
i feel the angst coming
jaeyi it’s not even about the sex anymore you like the man just realize it before the regretful tag top comes into play
to them, its a fubu relationship. jaeyi knows that he isnt like this with the others (his friend even said he treats his exes worse than ideum) and that's saying smth.
ideum doesnt have an inkling of what or how a fubu rs is supposed to work, so he just goes w it, not knowing that whatever jaeyi's doing (his affections, consideration, and whatnot) is more than what a fuck buddy should do
that actually does open a new perspective now that you put it that way!!
i guess you could also interpret that because jaeyi has never felt this way (as you said, has noticed he never acts this way towards anyone else, even when he’s in a relationship), i don’t think he realizes that that’s how people act when they are starting to like someone. i think it’s easier for him to think, wow! we have such great sexual chemistry and i am feeling this way because of that.
on the other hand, ideum also doesn’t realize that they’re blurring the lines between fubu like you said, and just wants to go along with things to keep things going, as you said.
i’m all for angst and slow burn, this used to be one of my favorite and i would look forward to it every single chapter release, even when everyone else was complaining about the 4 year time skip, i was sitting here eating it up because of it’s potential. both of them had the right to remain the way they did, esp juheon because of his past trust issues of being used being provoked by the one person he let his walls down for.
in saying that, i don’t know if i can say the same thing now. it’s been 20-30 chapters of miscommunication and angst (if you can even call it that). i was expecting mutual pining, angst and miscommunication in a way that was done where it was reasonable from both parties to withdraw and come back to each other.
except, most of the plot at the moment consists of story telling regarding their job with slight aspects of romance in between. i usually don’t mind this but i think ive genuinely gotten confused with the plot and the characters because of how long this has been dragged out.
i’m super upset because the potential this manhwa had up until the end of season 2 and the start of season 3 was insane. but now it’s not something i’m excited to read anymore and that makes me sad.
what does everyone else think?
Agreed in it's entirety and it makes me sad. If the author wasn't as motivated anymore (which I've heard) I wish they had waited longer to start on this season. I don't like time jumps at the best of times and this felt like not just a time skip but a jump to a whole new dimension and alternate story. :(((( >:(((((((((( gahhhhhhhhh

oh he’s crazy
