Reference links for the Rescue couple, I really didn't think I would be seeing them again in a different timeline.
Here's where they first introduce themselves in this timeline:

...... I’m sorry what? Miura and Ono are toxic af. Y’all need to reevaluate your perspectives if you see otherwise.
Miura just definitively outed Andou herself by telling the crowd saying that he kissed a man and did not get hard with her to have sex. Therefore, Miura literally confirmed all rumors that were circulating that Andou is gay, even for those who were on the fence. Bruh. That’s not what an ally of the LGBT would do.
And in ch 10 Miura confessed that she wanted to “divert his attention” from her BL Wait so. You’re telling me she didn’t actually like Andou for his personality or anything like that? She just wanted him for what? To use him as the ideal boyfriend that won’t condemn her for liking BL? did I see that right?
Miura also just admitted she not conceding her spot as Andou’s girlfriend, despite knowing he’s gay and outing him in front of a live audience. Bro. WHAT?
Did y’all not see her literally cue the MC to kiss her, pressuring him in front of audience? That’s literally manipulation guys. Also, how does kissing her solve anything?
Ono is also manipulative for pointing out Andou in front of the crowd and calling him to face the whole thing on stage. When it’s literally none of his business.
Both Ono and Miura outed Ono without his consent to literally everybody and their mom bro, and Andou never had a say in it at all.
All in all, I feel bad for Andou. He doesn’t need this to happen literally right here right now. Especially since he’s still young, in school, and didn’t ask for this at all.
What little benefit of doubt that I had for ono and miura is gone now. They are straight up toxic.
??? Divert his attention to keep her secret. You remember in chapter 1 she tried to play it off that she was buying BL for her sister right? That's what she meant. Then, to ensure he kept her secret, she tried to get him to understand her hobby so she could feel secure. Then when Jun said he wasn't judging her for being a fujoshi because that's wrong, she fell in love. So she DID fall in love with his personality and morals he showed to her back then.
Also, the audience pressured them both...if she didn't get him to kiss her, the audience would have backlashed. The way she went about trying to clear his name wasn't the smartest thing, but you're forgetting some details that paint her in a worse light than is fair.
.... but that’s what I’m saying, she got more involved with Andou by trying to divert his attention from BL and then because she felt secure by the fact that Andou didn’t judge her for it. Which is what she likes. So that’s why Miura attempted to get into a relationship just like how her big sister friend has with her boyfriend that also tolerates her BL. Which completely ignores the fact that Andou doesn’t feel the same way for her. Andou doesn’t like her romantically but cherishes her.
Also, the pressure from the audience came from Ono calling Andou out in front of the crowd. Which is how they zoomed in on Andou in the first place.
Plus the presumed backlash wouldn’t have gone and aired all the dirty laundry thah should’ve been private between the two of them. She literally just did what Ono did and outed Andou. But only worse, because she literally confirmed the rumors and outed him. Which you admit wasn’t the smartest way to go about it.
It also doesn’t answer my question of why can’t she back down from girlfriend status to supportive ally friend? Her cuing jun andou to kiss her to solve a problem she created is the most manipulative shit I’ve ever seen.
Forget all this theoretical stuff with Freddie Mercury and how this mirrors his life. I want to have my question answered on how can you think it is morally correct of Miura to continue to push her agenda of a straight relationship with a known gay man ? Especially after both outing and confirming that he is in fact gay?
"Talk" was code word for putting down everything that happened and clearing the air between them. Jun never tried to understand her while she tried to understand him—whether you find this an accurate understanding or not, let's avoid that discussion.
After that was done, she had full, and I mean FULL, intentions of breaking up. It's more obvious in the manga than the novel imo...She said "I'm glad you're here, Andou-kun. // But, it's not time yet. // There's something else I needed to tell you. // ...This is where our talk ends." Only problem is...You guessed it, Ono. Ono stepped up and took the mic, pushing Andou-kun to come to her when she was already having enough trouble letting him go. So, she ended up being selfish for a bit longer, which meant both her and Jun were pressured by the audience in different forms.
As for her outing him, his rep was already ruined. Even if it wasn't confirmed, Jun was already considering moving away and Miura, being the naive girl she is, decided to take a stance and use the spotlight she won in order to try and paint a better light for Jun. Trying to get others to understand him before he left without a word. Of course this meant she said some unnecessary details...I am not condoning that. But she did bring up a great point about him caring about everyone and hating himself, thereby making their lives easier by hiding away. Miura tried to become Jun's voice in that regard before she said goodbye to him both in their relationship, and what she fears, distantly.
But to answer your question directly, no. I don't think it's morally correct to pursue a relationship with a gay may that DOESN'T WANT IT. But Jun, despite him telling us several times he can't get hard to her, you see the pain in his words and face when he realizes he can't. He wants to, but can't. He cares for her, but knows he can't be what she wants. He is too attached, and Ono claiming he take "responsibility" only made that worse. It's up to Miura now to let him go.
Yes but you’re both seeing and explaining from the perspective of novel Miura instead of the manga Miura which I think is portrayed very differently, and the two are separate entities.
The novel Miura is empathetic and explains her reasoning,
The manga Miura is selfish and destructive.
That’s why I find it unfair for you take minute details that are provided by the novel Miura to explain the actions of manga Miura when in the manga they aren’t provided.
My perspectives For this manga are formed from the details gleaned from manga solely for the manga Miura version.
My opinion on novel Miura is entirely different, As is my opinion on the novel Jun who actually stands up for himself and talks back to Ono. Meanwhile manga Jun is a complete utter pushover that doesn’t even attempt to defend himself
Exactly. I do think that Miura and Ono are different in their kinds of toxicity. Ono outed Andou out of pure malice, and he intentionally said the things he did to give Andou a difficult time. Miura, however, genuinely thinks that she's doing the right thing, which I would argue is even more harmful to the LGBT community in a different sense. Whereas Ono can clearly be seen as a villain straight off the bat, Miura comes across as an innocent girl trying to help the person she likes. And that's where the problem is. She takes Andou's struggle and makes it about herself, and her "helping" him is only for her own sense of self-fulfillment. She even goes as far as to talk about her and Andou's situation in a way that (intentionally or unintentionally) portrays HER as the victim. This is such a good example of "performative allyship" or "savior complex". I plan on re-using parts of this comment later, so if you see this again, pretend it's your first time reading it haha
Be authentic to yourself and don’t force yourself to associate with people who don’t respect your personal space
Please Skip this Comment if you haven’t read up ch 4 yet
Since I’m going to be venting a little about the chapters I’ve read so far.

1) his fujo classmate, if she didn’t want him to tell others about her hobby then why does she constantly bring up the topic? Like he obviously shows disinterest, and or is uncomfortable but she keeps harping on it only deepening the Mc’s wounds and later pushing a relationship on him when body language obviously reads as uncomfortable
2) the adults namely the old guy and the barkeep around Mc are definitely pedophilic , the kid is still in high school but they’re making sexual advances on him
3) his ‘straight friend’ what sort of straight man grabs another guy by the balls? Like wth keep your hands to yourself
4) the fujo classmate ‘Big sister’ friend obviously fetishizes gay men, as seen in ch 4 like who does tf would do that to living breathing ppl who aren’t characters on a screen ? Similarly, I have the same criticism for the fujo classmate who doesn’t even think they exist irl around her (see: ch 1)

So far these are what stands out to me in terms of aggravating me. I mean overall this is a very complex story and you really sympathize with male Mc as he struggles to reconcile his perceptions of normalcy and how it equates to his value of person but I really want to see him stand up for himself and cut himself off for the toxic people and stop trying to go out of his way to make everyone happy when he himself is not happy. He obviously deserves better and I really hope for a good ending,
You have said it PERFECTLY. I find it absolutely disgusting that they are fetishizing gay men. I hope fellow fujoshi and fudanshi do not fetishize gay and bi men. As a woman, and as an Asian woman, I am often an object of fetishism. In the most minuscule way, I can empathize with Jun and I find it appalling that Miura and the older fujoshi lady are willing to compromise the lived realities of real people and simply make them icons of erotic fiction. I hope Jun truly finds a safe place.
there are a lot og things in the story which make no sense
MC mentions that she is discriminated bc of the colour of her hair but makes no attempts to hide said hair or even cut it short
MC goes to the village to buy vegetables instead of growing veggies herself
reminds me of a disney princess
MC whole interaction with the white crow makes me think of the little mermaid
ariel only wants freedom to explore human culture - she did not bargain to get married to prince eric
same with the MC here - all she wants is someone to talk to - she did not bargain to be used as a sex toy to some sadistic fuck
