Yeah, he's super childish in an annoying way to me and persistence gets really off putting after a while but meh if Ham likes him then whatever. Channie is cute and a lovable character but I could never deal with anyone like him in reality.

I thought about this as well. But come to think of it, I think I was like him when I was younger. You know, like hugging and touching (in a good sense) close friends and family members. But, let me assure you, it is just a gesture of affection, and we do it with persons that reciprocally feeling the same (not just some random people). I mean, this type of relationship (?) is rational, and for the fact Yool allows Chan to do that means that Yool also treats him dearly. I am not sure if this makes sense lol.
