Can’t argue with that....there’s some interesting scenes that wasn’t illustrated here...tho it’s not really that necessary to the point that it will ruin the flow of the story...Ethel is not that rude to Cayena on the novel tho

well it’s not much but in the novel ethel didnt really fight back to the noble kids since it would usually end up with him being the one who will suffer whenever he fights back. also bc now that the emperor is sick, people think that ethel and his mom lost the emperor’s favor that’s why nobles think they can trample them on. and cayena was actually the one who stood up for ethel which led to the bullies running away. but yes, ethel wasn’t this vigilant to cayena. he was more curious.

i didn’t really say it would ruin the flow of the story, same as what u said there were some interesting scenes that weren’t illustrated (was kinda looking forward to it) and seeing that they weren’t there i hoped it wouldn’t change the flow

cayena was the one who stood up for ethel coz he wasn’t fighting back and ethel wasn’t that rude to cayena as what was illustrated. in the novel he was more bewildered as to why cayena is acting like they are familir with each other and yeah *spoiler alert*


ethel will eventually open his heart to cayena and will end up calling her sister and he and raphael will have a nerve battle between each other since both are trying to catch cayena’s attention hehe it was so cute
