I really don't understand people saying that the author is glorifying all that abuse after that pig scene was released. Yes, we were told about the horrors that Yuta went through, but just because they were shown now, it does not mean that the author has some kind of weird fetish.
I actually found myself to be more understanding of Yuta's pain after the latest chapter, because seeing what happened to him brought another layer of horror to all of Yuta's suffering.
Yes that scene is disgusting, but I believe that's precisely the point the author wanted to make.
Also if you've read Pearl Boy you'd know that the author does not shy away from depicting scenes of extreme abuse.
I thought if an author is glorifying rape, they would gloss over it, no brain to use on or plot. It just seems like author shows explicit side of rape, the very reality of it. Showing rape does not equate to justifying or glorifying it.
The scene is shown as disgusting. Not shown as positive. Otherwise Yuta wouldn’t be crying, he wouldn’t be struggling. The glorified version would not show all that.
The author is just very explicit with it. And she makes very nasty disgusting scenes, none of which is glorification. I have read some that do glorify it, and this does not come close to that.
I read Pearl boy and while there was a lot of SA/rape, the point is there was no romanticization or glorification of rape. Jooha wasn’t happy about it, nor was ML. It’s meant to be disgusting.

I started reading this because of the art. Tf happened? Why are they so ugly? Especially Jitae, he used to have lips, tf even is that???
