Like I could give you a thesis of Dan character his psyche and how trauma has affect his life but well, we had been in Dan’s pov since the beginning.
Still I don’t get why all that cruelty to Dan maybe jk hates himself and sees himself in Dan (because of their similar experiences) or maybe he hates Kim Dan because he had a grandma that love him despite all and he was all alone ? There’s a possibility that he just hated him because he didn’t fight back or maybe he hates him because he is still kind after all that has happened and he isn’t (because fair is fair the guy is an ass) or maybe this is gonna be a you hate him because he loves him ? AHH jk I just don’t get you pal.
Mostly here to see how this ends because I’m curious lol I would love to see the character happy though I’m just like how HOW!! Are they going to get there if jk continues like he is and Dan is passive suicidal but well I’ll guess we will have to be patient lol

First of all LE GASP, second noooooo the puppy ┗( T﹏T )┛I would like than to have more friends, third MAN Dan really really needs some therapy that pal is too hard on himself, every time I analyze this chara i get the feeling that he wants to save people so bad but he can’t because that’s they reality of life and that makes his mental health go downhill, ALSO part of me new that Dan was going to get a little suicidal sooner or later but I was thinking it was going to happen after grandmas passing (I guess the dead of the puppy really trigger him) I’m glad jk stepped up in time but I’m a little nervous because than my pal needs kindness and I don’t know If jk is capable of that (because after all this time I don’t know him really well to me he is just an angry chara, he doesn’t have lots of dimension yet ya know ) also I felt the vindication when the actor called him a scumbag lmao that was funny. And to end this rant I JUST WANT DAN TO FIND PEACE AND BE HAPPY god that chara has been through everything and all alone he breaks my heart (this author really likes to make the bottom suffer hahah, but thats a story for another time)
You people are always “oh I want real mental health struggles in fiction, stop romanticizing and sugar coating things” and then you get characters like Dan and get pissed at him because he is “pushover” WelP I have news for you Dan is a perfect example of how a life of trauma with no support system and Debt looks like the boy has not known self worth for a moment in his life because he was abandoned by his parents and having to take care for terminal patient that literally is his whole world and only family with no support system damn the boy is at the end of his rope I bet he doesn’t even saw jk as problem but as a savior or something (and we all know that man was abusive as hell lmao ) that character needed therapy yesterday but alas this is a bl and the best we are going to get is romance because the main issue (his lack of self worth and trauma ) might not get a lot of spotlight, honestly I’m surprised that the author created a character so deep like that wish the story would focus on his recovery of all the trauma but once again this is a bl and the story is just not going there.
