So I finiahed reading it some time ago so I can't fully remember the details but Lucia admitted to herself that she loves the Duke but will firmly hold it to herself and will mot let the Duke know whatever happens. They talk before the Duke leaves. They kinda resolved this conflict and then Lucia ask for two condition before forgiving him. A reconcilation kiss (that the Duke gladly gave kyaah~) and to modify the contract. The part where it said that she won't care about the Duke's private life (I think) and said that he should let her know first if he ever get tired of her and don't go taking a lover without her knowldge. She wants it to know directly from him (And the Duke kinda got offended because wver since they got married he only have Lucia). And then the arc for Damien will finally start after that. Ashin (is that his name? The one the Duke sent to fetch Damien) escorted Damien to the North and the servants were all like so wary of the Madam's reaction 'cause you know? Bringing an illegitimate son and introducing it to your wife is just brr. But of course our lovely Lucia shows the opposite and totaly loves Damien because he looked exactly the Duke, just a younger version. And then they'll get close. So close that at some point, the Duke got jelous to him. And then Lucia will host a tea party, introduce Damien there, a party break (where the guest will give the host a silent treatment), Lucia get angry, cried because he let Damien experienced their hostile treatment, and then the Duke ofc took action. Then Damien will go nack to the academy.

Oh btw, Ana will be acquainted to Philip and she'll share Lucia's condition to him whicb is such a stupid thing to do even thouhg she's so desperate for a treatment because she didn't value her patient's privacy. Philip took advantage of this and gives the treatment Lucia needed (remember the one Lucia got in her dream? That's it) Coincidentally, Lucia's condition is what exactly a Taran bride needed to be ao they can bear a child (the girl) of the Duke and when they finally take the medicine and started having their mestration, they can now get pregnant by the Duke of Taran.

Anna gives the treatment to Lucia, Lucia noticed the vanilaa smell from the medicine and ask Anna if she made it herself. She said yes because she promised Philip that she'll never mention that its from him. Lucia knew that Anna is lying, Anna confessed after that, told it to Jeremy and then I can't remember what happened after that
Lucia told the Duke that she actually knows the needed medicine. Anna told Philip that Lucia figured out that the medicine is from him and didn't took it. So he decided to make a new medicine, same engredients but will remove the vanilla smell (since Lucia can recognize that) and disguise it as a headache med. Lucia is having migraine at that time. It can actually cure the headache. Lucia took this med not knowing that she's also slowly treating her infertility.

After that, they went back to the capital. And then a lot happened again.

I haven't seen the raws yet but are you referring to the Countess? The woman who got married thrice and all her husband died? She'll really be an annoying bitch in the future chapter.

So I'm really sorry if I can only give you a rough summary of qhat will happen. I really forgot the other details. And what I'll tell you may not be in chronological order so please bear with me.







The King passed away that's why they decided to go to the Capital. The Crown Prince also requested the Duke to go there. In the Capital there's a rumor that the Duchess of Taran is so beautiful that the Duke didn't want anybody to see her so after their marriage they went immediately in the North and confine her there. The high society were so curious about the Duchess. Btw, the Duke went earlier to the Captial because Lucia got sick so she urged the Duke to ho there first. She soon followed after some days.

In the Capital, after Lucia arrived, Hugo dropped to a famous boutique (its name is Antoinette if I'm not mistaken) then ordered the designer to go to their mansion and make a dress for the duchess. Then went next to a jewelry store and then bought all the jewelries there.

Lucia received a lot of invitation. In her first social gathering in the Capital, the Duke escorted her there so all the Ladies saw that. Sophia (is that her name? The girl Lucia saw in the garden with the Duke when she first approached him) is also there. A lot happened there. She's trying to provoke Lucia as she is one pf the past lover of the Duke (Sophia is already married here to a merchant. Her husband is Princess Katheryn, the Crown Prince's beloved? sister, supposed to be husband in Lucia's dream). Sophia showed a handkerchief and said to Lucia that she'd like to return it to the Duke 'cause she when she met the Duke recently he "comforted" her when he saw her tears. Then Lucia be like "Countess, you're looking down on me. This is not his. A wfie should know an item oh her husbnad right?" And the other ladies agrees with her. Lucia said she's crossing the line and as a consequence, she should not see her face in the social circle for a while.



Princess Katheryn became close with Lucia, same with Her Highness, Beth (idunno how to refer to Beth, she's the wife of the Crown Prince). Beth's brother, Count David visited her sister and saw Lucia and fall for Lucia. David hate Hugo and liked to compete against him (even thoigh we all know that he's know match for the Duke, not even qualifoed to be competing against him) so when he learned that Lucia is his Duchess, he hated him more.

The Countess (who the Duke last slept with, the one who had three husband) want to hurt (is it revenge? Or to humiliate? Sorry I forgot her intention) Lucia so she talked with David 'cause she knows David likes Lucia so she wanted to use him. She wants to ruin Lucia's reputation and make a rumor about her having an affair with David. Everything got messy in this arc. They're all not thinking and just digging their own grave actually.

So fast forward again when they are executing their plan, Hugo went back to the North to subjugate the Barbarians. Its really important at that time so he has no choice but yo go back and left Lucia in the Capital. He assigned Sir Krotin (remember the knight called the mad dog? The one who let Lucia in the first yime she went to the castle, and also the escort assigned for the Crown Prince) to be Lucia's bodyguard/escort while he's not there. In the party at the Palace, Countess used a magical item of the House of Ramil (David and Queen Beth's fam) that can alter ypur physical appearance. She changed her face with the maid's face in charge of the Princess' lounge area (Katheryn has her own rest area and only Lucia is given a permission to rest there). The separate Katheryn saying that her brother has summoned her to the Palace. Lucia is led to the rest area saying that the Princess is waiting for her there. David is already inside. Their planning to create a rumor that Lucia is secretly meeting with David in the Princess' lounge. And then a lot happened in the end Sir Krotin killed the both of them, Lucia escaped with another man that Fabian sent there. Sir Krotin didn't speak any thing about that so Lucia'a name will mot be involved. This is really a big mess. The Duke rushed back to the Capital. Sir Krotin is in jail and since he killed a Duke's heir (David) they requested his execution. Duke made a plan. Talked to the Crown Prince and Duke Ramil, arranged another man with the same built as Sir Krotin who's in line for a deathrow ao they can stage his "death" and then he'll be sent back to the North.

Lucia got pregnant, rememver the headache medicine she's been taking? A year or 2 already passed since then so the medicine took effect already and ahe got pregnant. The Duke went beast mode and search for Philip. He's worried something may happen to Lucia. Duke already told some of the Taran's fam secret to Lucia. Lucia also have mentioned her dreams to Hugo.

Lucia also met his grandfather from his mother's side.

Lucia and Hugo had a baby girl. Damien loves her. I cried while reading the first time they met. I just... waaah

Damien also had a friemd in the Academy. No one knows that Damien is a Taran so he's being bullied there. Then a fight happen because those kids dirtied Damien's handkerchief that Lucia sent and embroidered herself. Damien didn't care cause he knows the Duke will not be mad about something like that but the notification the Academy sent to his family accidentaly got mixed with Lucia's letter so she got worried and sent Hugo there to fix and check on Damien. Everyone is shock to know he's a Taran.
