I think the DID part could’ve been done better. In other stories with DID, i get really uncomfortable because usually the love interest of the character with DID ends up having sex with all the personalities which feels a lot like... cheating kind of? They are different personalities so essentially different people, and saying they are all the same is offensive to their own natures and characters I think(my opinion). Sure they get reintegrated into the host if everything goes well but they are still different entities, different people in my opinion so I’m glad soohyun knew the limits, he loved ray for different reasons than he loved sooha. It’s a decent read if you’re bored.
Redemption stories were unnecessary and unconvincing. And putting the mentally ill person back with his trigger? Um... i don’t like either of the characters, one should be in a psychiatric facility and the other should just stay as far away as possible. In the short time after the incident there is absolutely no way they both learned what it means to be mentally and physically healthy enough to sustain themselves and a relationship with each other.
exactly. i don't understand why seongho got back with doyoon when he was like that because of him. everything happened too quick, i doubt that they will last with their state as of now :/ seongho was way better off with joonyoung.
THE COMMUNUCATION IN THIS STORY IS EVERYTHING. AFTER WITNESSING ZERO COMMUNICATION IN EVERY SINGLE BL MANGA, MANWHA, OR MANHUA I FORGOT WHAT IT WAS LIKE TO SEE CONSTANT, HEALTHY COMMUNICATION AND I LOVE IT
With most of these stories where your lead Uke or something is a porn star, stripper, or like escort for some reason those rape scenes automatically just get put in like nothing when compared to a regular yaoi that has one rape scene. Both are absolutely horrid so I’m so happy it didn’t happen this time
The story was a nice amount of sad wrapped up with a happy ending. There was some stuff left unexplained but I think that was okay. It’s a nice little heart warmer to enjoy.
Their characters, or at least suenghee was so developed and completely relatable. All his actions seemed so real, I loved them so much more than the first couple. DONT get me wrong, I loved them, it’s just watching the development between suhyeok and suenghee and how they developed by themselves and together was just so heart wrenchingly beautiful. By far one of the most realistic relationships out there. And I adored the relationship between kwon inbeom and suenghee, you rarely ever see a straight guy and a gay guy become best friends in these stories because they’d usually do for the “I’m gay for your” trope but seeing them be best friends and nothing more was so refreshing.
No progress since like 50 chapters ago. I swear, it’s just constant misunderstanding s over who’s dating who and YI YUN HASNT EVEN REALIZED HE LIKES JINYAO YET. I do want to see the short haired thief get destroyed thoe. Also if they become a couple RIGHT at the end when they’ve been living and with each other this entire time, they will officially rank as one of the most dense couples to ever exist.
