He littlest admitted that it’s an obsession and it’s all because she reminds him of his mother which is the last time he ever felt something. I just feel like it’s unfair for the FL to be dragged through the emotional wringer just because she couldn’t communicate properly. Like this all started because he didn’t admit he knew she was pregnant and was basically lying to her (especially in the dreams) and then he just chases her and accused her of being accused of treason if she runs. Obvi the girl is gonna think she might be hurt or killed (especially after that I’d make her lay comment he did).
Overall, I like the story and realize that she’s probs gonna end up with the emperor and they’re gonna live a happy family but I really wish that even after their misunderstandings get resolved the FL would choose to not be with him. Maybe she should allow him to see the kids and let them be taught by him and such (is they want) since he is the father and all. First and foremost I just want them to TALK AND SOLVE THEIR ISSUES.
I agree, and to be honest the secondary ML to s just better In my opinion. He was willing to help her take care of the children and he genuinely loves her instead of an object like the emperor

Exactly!!! Ppl are hating on the captain but he’s been nothing but respectful towards her and let’s her make her own decisions while supporting her and not forcing her to do anything. He’s latterly just loving her and trying to help in any way he can which is better than the obsessed emperor in my eyes

Unfortunately I think she’s just gonna end up w the emperor but if that happens I want him to go above and beyond and EARN her forgiveness and for his love to be more than just obsession cause otherwise it’s gonna take away from the strength she’s already been shown to have by forgiving him just like that and it’ll come off as insincere (at least for me)

Totally hoping it’s different. While kinda unfair, those kids being w him will lead to them being powerful so it’d be a win for them. I can see him making that decision or maybe she’d be forced to abandon them but I don’t see that happening since she loves them too much
