well if u were in yeonjo’s shoes what would you be thinking? faded
If I were Yeonjo, hatred will be the one winning. And being in love with my family’s murderer wouldn’t be in my vocabulary. I would spend my whole life plotting for my revenge even if it causes my death.

the whole point of this romance is that its conflicting and immoral. like the repetition of these conflicts is yeonjo’s way of reassuring himself, but its fickle because how could a love like this be anything but devastating? yeonjo was driven by vengeance for like 60-70 chapters of this story, we literally witness his breakdowns and mental turmoil over his love for heeryang. he also previously admired and respected him as a child. i just feel like this criticism with yeonjo’s character arc that people have is something that the entire plot revolves around.
I don't believe in the slightest on how the author could redeem Chang gyeon or restructure Sam's mental health. And that is very unfortunate especially in sam's case
