There is no explanation yet, but it might be because the saintess owed such interest in the empress, so she decided to protect her maids "friend"

Irene fell in love with someone else so she doesn't really want to be empress anymore and the redirected feeling to the reincarnated saint has to be with the fact that that one knight is looking for her and Irene thinks he doesn't like her and probs wants to kill her (He does like the reincarnated priest but since he works alongside the emperor she think him searching for her isn't a good thing so she wants to protect her as she is her only friend so the feeling were redirected to the priest)

ahhhh so cute, elissa is brave to confess to ginger like that and ginger is slowly learning to love himself and another person. i love their relationship so much and i want to see elissa's powers develop further

ah this one looked really promising, but judging by the spoiler below me, it's going to be too much tragedy and barely any romance before wrapping up.
now i'm kind of craving a story where the protagonists end up in the modern world afterwards... someone pls recommend if you know any
wow such a good story! pacing was excellent up until the last 15 chapters or so. too many added twists and turns and they spent way too long in the last room going back and forth about returning to the real world. the fl started to annoy me a bit with her wishywashy-ness in those last scenes, but everything else was perfect! i loved perrat, but why this poor bb had to suffer so much ;_; i wish i could have seen more scenes of him truly happy. would have been great to seen an epilogue, but the ending was otherwise great. didn't feel too rushed.
this is very cute! i hope they have a discussion soon about the duke turning back time so they're on the same page. can't wait to see fl fall in love with the duke. and i hope there's a good reason for why he acted like an ass the first time around. like was he a severe tsundere or something.....
