the art is absolutely beautiful and the story is so sweet and cute and all of the characters are perfect in their own ways
i really really hope it gets licensed in english so i can have my own copy ╥﹏╥
until then i guess i’ll have to buy a german or japanese one ╮(￣▽￣)╭

I bought it in Japanese because I just needed to have some copy, any copy to hold in my hands. I love it so much. SuBLime just released Jackass in English and will consider other Scarlet Beriko titles if it sells well enough, so if everyone goes out and buys a copy of Jackass, hopefully we'll get this one picked up, too!
Yondaime got licensed by Sublime too. It comes out next year.
Where are you seeing this? I've searched their website, blog. I follow them on twitter and I don't see an announcement. Would be a dream come true!

My understanding from the SuBLime rep was that if Jackass sold well, they would look into licensing more Scarlet Beriko titles.
I heard that Jackass is selling well so fingers crossed that Yondaime gets released too and maybe Jealousy in the future.
I hope so. Yondaime is a beautiful gem of a book. My plan, if all else failed, was to type up the English translation and glue it into the Japanese version. Ha! And Jealousy is shaping up to be sensei's masterpiece. Am also hoping for Queen and Tailor, which is so lovely.
Yondaime's English publishing rights are held by Renta, unfortunately. So we won't get it in book form.

It may not be your cup of tea or mine but money doesn't lie. These themes don't repeatedly pop up specifically in the yaoi genre (manga, games like Dramatical Murder) for no reason. It sells. It may appear in other genres too but it appears most often in yaoi. The healthier stuff is less popular, rarely gets an anime, and there are barely any rape free (unless censored) BL games.

unfortunately it’s not lisenced in english, which breaks my heart because i really wish i had the series
it seems my spanish classes have proven their worth, though, since the series is lisenced in spanish
definitely buying the first two manga they’ve released and i can’t wait to buy the rest!
