I know we're heading towards the end of the story but the way they are overthrowing Duke tantir and the empire seems extremely rushed and not properly thought out. like terryl could totally have told cessio about the shed skin ring and avoided all this hurt and misunderstanding but she didnt?? idk I think that they could have summed everything up in a much more satisfying way than this

i feel like it started falling apart around chapter 17-18, i could have seen it going in a diffeent direction but it didn't. I feel like the most logical decision after killing the dude who tried to rape her would be to go to the police and report what had happend and how he was the person who killed those other people she encountered in highschool. it kinda threw me for a loop when they added in the youtuber boyfriend and it was wayyy over the top for the rich dude to basically put a hit out on them and create another conflict onto of the already presented one. I understand that the whole story was suposed to be showing how they both struggle and arnt the people they portray themselves to be, but I think there were also a lot of plot holes and questions left unanswered. what happend to her in the last chapter?? she looked like she was going to kill herself but chose to just throw her phone in the ocean instead. its also insinuated that she visits him in jail at some point with him calling her a bitch, but it was only a single panel so it's unclear to me if she really did visit him or not. also the fact that siblings were present in both mc's lives but were just mentioned in passing. I feel like a lot of things just had to be assumed with this like the fact that riko died, and that the girl presumably moved away to where male mc mentioned wanting to go. I don't know I was left wanting a lot more than what was given. I'd give it a 3.5

I spent the time I should have been sleeping instead binge reading this, I am in such a state of shock I don't think I can even put my feelings into words. my mind is absolutely blank after having read up to chapter 74. as I am still processing this and everything that has happend I realized that the last 13 chapters or so feel like the story has been almost stretched, I won't go into details as I've marked this as not containing any spoilers but it feels like these chapters were just thrown in to add more shock and disarray in an already complicated storyline. with the way it was set up I believe this sort of "twist" was planned from the begining but the way it was thrown in so haphazardly feels very, disheartening and shocking, shocking enough that I am still sitting here like a fool with my mouth agape typing this. I will most likely be thinking about this story for the rest of my day and weeks to come until a solid conclusion is given, thank you to any other bewildered readers who have taken the time to read my shocked ramblings.

this is one of the most enjoyable stories I've read in my years of reading historical romance manhwa, I found myself actually laughing at the comedy sprinkled in the romance between Catherine and cesar along with being deeply intrested in the lore of Catherine's mother and how she ties into what has been affecting Catherine's life. I am almost in tears over the fact that there are only 51 chapters as of my reading and my inability to find the novel translated. I really can't wait for the next chapter and I'll be holding my breath for the notification that this manhwa updated

I checked the official tappytoon page and it looks like chapter 78 is the final chapter so far. I've seen discussions here and there mentioning that this series author is notorious for taking a long hiatus between seasons, all we can do is cross our fingers and hope they return as it will soon be a year since the last installment. ヾ(❀╹◡╹)ﾉ~
