To everyone wanting to read the novel and start where the manga left off, I suggest reading at the start of chapter 3: drawn from memory!!

The setting here in the manga is different from their setting in the novel but they dont worry as they get to the same conclusion (understandable as novels and mangas are different storyteling mediums so they have to take some liberties somewhere).
Here in the manga, they went to the house to investigate directly with Kurihara on the phone but in the novel, they figured everything out in the conference room they rented using a floor plan Yuzuki wrote from memory (hence the chapter name!).
I may be biased but reading the novel does a better job creeping you out as its written in first person in the perspective of the author so you feel more involved. The novel is also written as if its something that you would
GODDD forbid someone rightly criticizes an author for their asscheecks writing. people are complaining because this story has already concluded YEARSS ago and a lot of readers invested their time (and some, money) into a story that ran well and concluded well.
CBAW was praised and beloved in the BL community as a standout at a time when BL's with darker themes were at its peak so its so sad to see a beloved series turn into just yet another misunderstanding toxic slop that it stood out from in the first place (especially when its done so.... poorly). So of course people are gonna be dissappointed and complain with everything thats happening in the series
You can't just "dont like, dont read" everything for fucks sake, people were invested in this series and wanted to see what the new season was gonna bring and guess what? its shit! So people are saying its shit!
Im so glad this was the first topic I saw stating this, and Im glad more people are starting to realise this took a turn for the worst.
I started noticing the quality of the writing decrease during the second half of S2, barely got through the stalker rape scene in the side stories and then officially said, fuck no, I'm not reading this shit when S4 was announced
No, literally. I res the first chapter of the series returning and What the hecky. I skipped to chapter 160 not even remembering when the last season dropped and they’re still not in a mended relationship. Just physically intimate with each other now and this guy blushing over something he found while snooping through someone’s phone. and then there’s the one who goes to the bathroom to cry instead of just telling him what’s going on.
r u seriously asking this in one of the most popular manga/manhwa pirating sites? i can smell ur virtue signalling from here but ill bite and answer your question genuinely, I definitely do think that most of the people here have atleast bought some chapters or merch of the series.
After all CBAW was one of the most popular BL's in the early 2020's and daily log in rewards exist so buying chapters little by little is possible and widely practiced. Plus its not like the backlash is just contained here, I've seen posts talking about the new season on other social media apps.
Dont turn this into a "you're reading this for free, why complain?" situation when everyone comes here for different reasons and you're never sure how a person practices their support for an a*thor. Also, where better to complain about a series than a site that keeps its a*thors in the dark? People can blow off steam while the a*uthor remains safe from it.
Its not like everyone that comments here is unaware theyre in a pir*cy website, they dont expect anything to come from commenting anything good or bad. People just want to express their emotions regarding a series and them reading for free is a flimsy refort as it isnt gonna change the series' content being the way it is, something that brought out a lot of emotions and point of discussions.
Agh, apologies if this was standoffish, I just want to defend the people commenting here.
( also b4 u come for it i censored some words cause mangago might not let me post this comment if it flags them)

It's always so cute seeing a baby bird learn how to be the BIGGEST BIRD of all
