yall i read from novel spoilers that she comes back as a divine spirit or something. she stayed at the doggy heaven because she had to recuperate since she exhausted her powers. and since she's now neither a dog nor a human, the 5 years limit was voided. and then she came back to earth, she was found by chloe in the streets because coco can't remember anything but she eventually remembers her quickly. during those five years without coco, everyone tried to live and survive, her family was closer than ever, chloe and the archduke are together stronger, and caligo becomes like a really good naval officer but for 5 years he visits the spot where coco disappeared every week waiting for coco to come back. coco also wrote them letters that's why they were able still live happily while waiting for her. so yeah, that should solve the age gap thing yall are worried about coz despite being in the doggy heaven, she's aging with them.
