I agree with the ppl who are tired of the mc but sadly people like this exist irl and are unfortunately suffering in countless toxic relationships due to the simple fact that they don’t love themselves and are emotionally dependent on people that don’t benefit them. With this mc we can tell that he always had low self esteem, low confidence etc, and with everything that happened with his best friend this behaviour is not surprising. Hopefully he snaps out of it and gets out of there to find happiness
