TL;DR opinion: Had some flaws but overall quite good. Really nice art and side characters. MC's will probably be a bit polarizing due to having very intense personalities. Lots of smut and mid-level angst.

I wouldn't call it toxic yaoi, but it is angst yaoi. The trauma and results of that trauma are very realistic and I think well done for the most part. The workplace drama gets to be a lot less believable (the setup I think is very real for that kind of work culture, but it gets wild later on).

The art is really nice. I like Seo's confused expressions a lot.
The side characters are also really compelling even though we don't get much about them. They have a lot of personality and tend to steal a lot of scenes they're in.

There is some what I'll call mild dubcon. [[mild spoilers: I don't love that the first time they go all the way, seo is quite drunk.]] There are also times when seo says to slow down or wait and baek doesn't. Size difference/size kink is clearly a thing with this pairing, and I think Seo's objections are more leaning into that rather than intending to show outright refusal (seo does not object to the sex itself, but moreso he finds the intensity and baek's crazy stamina and size overwhelming. When baek does slow down or pause, seo reinstigates the interaction) but it's still not great.

Communication issues abound but the story does also explore how those issues comes from places of fear and anxiety. Both our boys are terrified of being vulnerable and being rejected (someone please take them to therapy).

I do think at times the plot can kind of... Interrupt itself? Like the pacing with flashbacks and exposition can be a bit odd. But it's overall pretty solid and, while the things that happen later get pretty OTP, they do at least feel like they were planned for and that the author laid the groundwork for everything.

I do wish we got some sidestories about the side characters (baek's sister seems like a grade A useless Sapphic and man do I want more of that). One of the side stories we do get is I think quite nice and gives a bit more of baek's internal dialogue, but the other was a kind of odd direction to take. I'm sure many will be into it but that particular one wasn't my cup of tea.

Overall, I've read a few comics of this type that I like more, but I've read a lot more that I liked less.
