Maybe it’s just me but I felt like the conflict chapters where haseong was basically holding taehyun captive in his own apartment were soooo drawn out and painful to read like I get it’s not that easy to fix everything right away but reading so many chapters of taehyun getting abused was terrible I just wanted it to end. Haseong genuinely makes my blood boil I wish someone else had beat the shit out of him just once ugh. At least there’s a lot of nice fluffy side stories (▰˘◡˘▰)
Ugh I started this cause I wanted to read the sequel but I hate all the sa I couldn’t finish it. It sucks cause it can be really funny but I was just uncomfortable reading it most of the time
I started with the sequel and it is hilarious, but after reading this story, the perception changed. I just thought that Shinjoo is mostly comic relief guy who's sex crazed and while the sequel did state that he's creepy and all, I assumed it was about his "tastes". But after reading this, I saw how immoral and disgusting Shinjoo really is. He's spoiled rotten and never really learned about consent.
The sequel tried to make him feel pity and lovable but I dont think of him as deserving of kindness. He always thought of acheving his target by setting up schemes of sort which is disgusting. If he approached Kyesoo with honesty, then perhaps it would have been palatable like a playboy with "unique tastes". But thats not how he is, he tricks people using his good looks and his gentle and mature facade and lures them in and enforces his desires and doesnt let them go until he's satisfied and it is sick

Exactly! He could have been easily written as hilarious, freaky but sweet character. I think the author wanted to introduce the drama by making him something of a villian but going by this route is not the way and making him adorable and pitiable in the sequel does not sit well with me
