the plot twists and storyline is so beautiful !! i love this exploration of grief in the way the characters dont have to be cataonic in order to grieve
the art is so beautiful, the characters are interesting, and i really like the world building. i always am drawn to political dramas so highly recommended if you like that stuff
whats up with the kids? the whole point is that people have to show their worth so why would guwon save three random kids bruh maybe i missed part of the plot but it seems random
Guwon did say that he is building a village, and is thinking kids are important for that. Also, we’ll most likely learn the reason later on. They seem pretty attached to Guwon too
i think as time went on, they managed to sway Guwon's thinking into kids being like, future insurance? Train them while young so when they're old enough they can join like the hounds or something. That's genuinely my thought. Given the kids' ages, they could help with smaller chores around town, teach them how to read and write and soon they can help others too? Just a guess.
For the future generations he wants the town to be there even after he is gone and to make a proper town like he wants of course there should be kids ヾ(☆▽☆) they're so cute

Not a guide verse manhwa, but the mc works similarly as a guide. It's called Regas, and the mc helped teach and guide a powerful kid, but died. The ml only has eyes for the mc, and similarly turned dark and cruel after the MC died. The MC got reincarnated into a more weaker body (funnily enough the MC is also blonde and got twinkified). It follows a similar plot, so if you enjoyed this I think you'd enjoy Regas as well.
