It was funny I promise! But some people may have a hard time understanding sarcasm through just reading a comment. Or they could be autistic like I am, I have a very hard time sensing sarcasm from people so that could be part of it. Lets all hope its not him liking his brother tho! I would drop this book immediately if that was the case. He most likely is just overprotective, also in many Asian households ( i was raised in one) being gay is not allowed, thankfully my dad came out as bi to me when I told him I was gay so there were no problems!
