It broke my heart to see Granny go, even though I knew it was coming. Still, I'm glad that Doc Dan won't be alone from now on. I knew he'd choose JK because he's understanding and forgiving, and that made me feel both mad and happy. In the end, he made him a better person, and I can be happy with that.
Child, all that smoke was warranted, and that ass-stomping was top tier. The battle that matters the most is happening right there in the hospital room, and JK knows it. This chapter was heartbreaking. Doc Dan can't catch a break.
People may forget what you say, what you did, but they'll never forget how you made them feel. Jk can't do any of this, his dad still lives rent-free in his head. However, I still think he can have it all, the title and KD, I digress.
KD has faced a lot of hardships, and when his granny dies, that'll be another one through everything he's never been nasty or miserable to those he's around. Jk is the complete opposite. His life is better, but his social skills and that attitude are horrible. He's starting to soften up a bit. That is the person I would've liked to meet first because first impressions count, and you rarely get a chance to make a second one. As they get to know each other better, KD has forgiven all the things JK has done to him. Whether we think the reason Jk has acted is good, bad, or who cares, those are the reasons.
To be in each other's lives again is a good thing because they will need each other more than ever now.
I've said before how I feel about JK mistreating Kim Dan; however, it's his choice how he deals with JK from here on out. That "doctor' is trash, and he deserves everything he gets.
He feels like Doc Dan's defenses are up every time he does or says something, and he doesn't get the response he wants. That's your fault! It's like the quote says, "People will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel." Suck it up, buttercup! Just prove to him that you're not the selfish, rude, hurtful, entitled individual you were towards him, and hope that thing falls into place.

The coach is right, fame and money mean nothing without having a purpose in life. Every decision made since becoming famous has carried consequences; for once, he needs to choose his next move carefully.
JaeKyung's upbringing was rocky from an early age. The final heartbreak was hearing his mom say, Never contact me again. I appreciate the coach and his wife showing him love and compassion. People process heartbreak differently; he turned into a problem almost immediately after that conversation. He needed an outlet for all that anger and started making bad choices. The coach showed up again, speaking words of honesty and guiding him in the right direction. Who knows, had his mom had a different response, he might be different. We know his backstory, and I understand the reason he's this way. However, the way he treated Doc Dan isn't right.
I have sympathy for Jk because no child deserves this type of treatment, and I understand why he acts this way. Everyone handles trauma differently. I'm glad that the director and his wife came into his life when he needed them the most. Sadly, he treats Doc like his father treated him, and that's a problem. He has to know how he felt when his dad hurt him. Doc Dan will give him another chance because they need each other, and he's a good person. JK needs to prove he's not like his dad and earn Doc Dan's trust again.
Although he's tried to distance himself from Joo Jaekyung, it's not happening. He has now found someone from his past who may help him understand Joo Jaekyung better.
Whether I like it or not, Kim Dan will help JJ train because he's a good person, and they will become even closer. It's Kim Dan's choice, I hope he doesn't regret that decision.
Just when I thought no one could top BJ ALEX. Joo Jaekyung is diabolical, Narcissistic, and Extra AF. The redemption arc better be LIT. Everyone deserves a second chance, and I'm sure Kim Dan will give him one. I'll wait and read it till the end.

It hurts to see the way the mom's life ended. She did the best she could every day to provide. I know she loved Dimitry with everything in her. Seeing him cry and appreciate her there at the end was heartbreaking.
