Im crashing out on how little female lead representation is in psychological/thriller/apocalypse type movie. Are the authors sleeping on this?? I haven't actually read this manga and it looks like it doesn't exactly fit what you want either, but there's this manga called Claymore with a female mc and people say it's peak, it's in the horror, action genre

I don't think I have a manga/hwa/hua that fits the description, honestly, so you'll have to look mine up on other websites.
Dents, on Webtoons Original (official, free, supports the author - I know Webtoons sucks but this is a legal way of reading it. It's also on mangago) has a bit of romance but it's more of a background thing. No sexual scenes.
Saga (comic, you can read a pirate version on readcomiconline) - has sexual scenes and "romance" buuuut you'll understand why I suggested it. Try it. Fair warning for uh, birth? Also never use readcomiconline without andadblocker.
Tamsyn Muir's The Locked Tomb series (books) - lesbians and bones everywhere and somehow no sexual scenes.
Skin and Bones, by Almighty Conurbano (Webtoons Canvas) the author definitely needs more love and this is honestly the bestest series I'm reading right now. No romance, no sexual scenes.
