No Kurosawa is a bit older then adachi. They're both in the same graduating class since they started their job interviews in the same year. Maybe your thinking of tsuge (adachi's friend)?

Im not really 100 percent sure since its been long since I last read the novel, welp their encounter was pretty much meddled by kwonwoo preventing his guide from meeting or conversing with the busan esper boi was jealous. Their personal funny encounter from what I remember was when the busan esper was about to fall from somewhere and was asking for help but kwonwoo just went and said to just ignore him
