Rather than staying and hurting each other, Yeodan chose to break up to save them both, and I think that’s really a mature decision that’s rare in some couples irl
In dani's case, she obviously like yeodan (but not the same way he likes her) that even he knew she’d blindly comply if he asked her to keep distance from a certain friend. She may not be honest and vocal about her feelings, but it’s enough that the people around her know what kind of person she is. She just needs to learn to accept herself and the reality she’s in right now, without thinking she’s just a character in a webtoon
