do you not know know what shonen ai means? its literally used to categorize softer BL. both are gay but yaoi is used when its heavier with gay to explicit. shonen ai is used for hella implied to confirmed, including kissing. tbh people don't usually use these terms so strictly anymore but shonen ai has ALWAYS meant romantic gay love. its the same for Yuri and shoujo ai.
I mean there isn't anything wrong with them loving each other romantically? I mean it's not even the main part of the story anyways Σ( ￣□￣||)
I know what it means, but I’ve genuinely have had a hard time finding anything within the genre that is tagged with Shonen ai to have an actual kiss scene.
