He loves Geumryang and doesn't want him to harm himself. But Geumryang loves Taesun and wants Taesun to be by his side forever. But to say Sun and Moon are exchange for a wish was so uncalled for. They are his babies. It kind of reminds me of Blood Link. Lee Bin, an immortal vampire, did not understand why he should love his own child when he has Hwa Gok. I feel like Geumryang at least loves his children but his love for Taesun might be stronger and he would go to any extent for him. And Taesun doesn't understand that because to him that's just Geumryang hurting himself and he would never want that.
