second male lead syndrome is too strong with this story... lumie is the perfect man i cant believe ran picked her STEPBROTHER instead of her sexy loyal knight
i initially started reading because i liked the plot but i feel like it ended in a really bad way. there was so much suspense and build up just for the reveal of the stalker and his motive for doing so to be so unsatisfying. the romance was alright but there were no real "special" moments between the two leads.
the duchess and the princes aide both have male leads who are cute and really suit them. i genuinely hope though that the pink haired girl escapes the prince and finds someone new. he basically assaulted her on their first meeting and then kidnapped her so she wouldnt leave

for anyone wondering the male lead is the prince and the second male lead is the bodyguard
i have a feeling the story is going to end by "hikaru" sacrificing himself to save yoshiki. theres wayy too many fanarts of hikaru with a cut/decapitated head and now we learn that their ancestors used to offer their heads for things... i guess theyll never get their happy ending :(
