bec. bakuman is shounen so as usual, romance gets thrown at the side. ╮(￣▽￣)╭ but to be fair, there's good romance-oriented shounen too and i usually like them better than shoujo lol.

there's a few male MCs that are more of a lover than a fighter tho and as much as i love action i appreciate those few ones so much. too bad romance mangas have a shorter life span than action mangas.
