JJK is so confused and taken back with this tiny confession that Kim Dan is just putting up with him, before and now. He is just DOING HIS JOB! whenever JJK will try to get close to Kim Dan, he'd be reminded of this moment, yk, that panel where JJK asks and Kim Dan gives a reply.
This hiatus is so good. It gives me time to actually think about what will happen next. Can't wait for Mingwa to bring on with the angst arc.

So i binged the series everything there's a new chapter. Since there are just 16 chapters I started from the start.
Baek Seung Hyun worked for Jae Il as we've seen in Pearl Boy. BSH (Baek Seung Hyun) was in love or crushing over his boss. When Jae Il decides to get married and leave the world of yakuza, Jae Il offers the clan to BSH. But to do that BSH must follow the rules for fornicating with one of the members in the Golden Pavilion. Yuta or Tsubaki met around 10 years ago when they had the whole meet up and sex. Of course Jae il was excused from this so the next boss had to follow the rules. Back to the present BSH, hates Dooshik because me introduced Jae il to his sister? And then they got married and Jae il quit being a mafia (this is a maybe its what i think so if you can correct me, please do.)
Back to the present, Yuta is the boss of this big enterprise which also is one of the company's providing funds for the casino that BSH needs. BSH is doing all he can for the casino to be a reality. We see a past snippet of Yuta being abused by the step son. Him calling BSH, and BSH then appearing out of thin air to his aid. That's all like one of many memories we'd see as the chapters progress.

He ragebaited BSH to the T. Yuta getting "engaged" to BSH is to get away from that abusive stepson and get the money, the place of the head in the enterprise.
TLDR:
BSH wants to build a casino. (Reason to why? I don't know. But let me know if you do.)
Yuta might be one of the investors that could provide funds or protection.
BSH gets along with Yutas plan just so he cpuld get his funding and legal drama out of way for his casino.
Yuta wants to get away from his stepson and the tag of the "whore".
Love the panel where they just slept on the couch. Yumm. Their daily routine is awesome as well. Kim Dan doesnt want a doctor. Just someone who'd be there. For someone to let him shine for once. (Isn't that someone we all can just dream about) i saw that little white puppy on Kim Dans leg and Boksoon chilling on Jaekyung when they're in the village having dinner. Just wow.
Ps. Instead of licking Kim Dan like a dog in heat. Jaekyung should've kissed him.

Cute. Jaekyungs being jealous and pocessive, yeah. "Just focus on me. I'm the one who hired you" yeah. Subtle Mr Joo.

I've been waiting for Seph to finally upload. cause the spoilers on Instagram and TikTok kept coming up. Okay, so feeling almost nice because Jaekyung is finally realizing how stupid he has been acting towards Kim Dan and he can't remember how he looked when he smiled because it was just one time I think he smiled in the whole manhwa and second time when, you know, the dog had the puppies and it's okay.
I'm just fangirling over the panel, where he says, forget my jinx, I just need to fix Kim Dan. That's, that's oblivious, but, alright. we get it. the way Jaekyung finally understood the important of a significant other. like how he'd drive back and forth for him to meet his grandma. begging but just asking nicely, to help Jeakyungs upcoming title match.
it was good chapter, it was nice. I'm going to cry when it ends. I really hope we have extra Jaekyung and Dan chapter. not only the actor and potato. its been so long I dont remember their names. apologises.
