Well, it's not really clarified if the taboo Princess (Alnilam/Naito) and the prince of misfortunes (Saiph/Yuto) were exactly romantically involved. We see that Saiph/Yuto seems to have some sort of affections for Alnilam/Yuto, but we don't exactly know how the princess felt about Saiph. Unless it's explicitly stated they were in love or were together, I wouldn't conclude they had something established. Although, I also believe that the princess and prince might have been romantically involved (But Rubaiyut confuses me), I do not believe Naito and Yuto are romantically involved (could be one-sided tbh).

I have read all the chapters of 1001 in otakumole, so far there are 44 chapters. And I'll tell you this but saif and alnilam never met they both died during infancy.
The person rubaiyat loves is I believe one Naito's many reincarnations. Alnilam loved only rubaiyat and rubaiyat loved only her, that's the solid truth. Yuta's feelings for Naito are his own feelings and have nothing to do with saif. So basically saif and alnilam never met and were not in a romantic relationship whatsoever. I hope this helped ≧◡≦

I haven't read the whole manga but I skimmed through some of it and it seems pretty similar. A lot of scenes seemed identical but it seems a bit too long for the anime to have followed the whole thing exactly.

it worked for them because isshin gave up his life as a shinigami, do you think rukia who just became a captain would do that? do you think ichigo who cares very deeply about his family would die just to be with her?
