I was really hoping Dohyun could escape and return to normal life, so I was initially dissapointed that they got together, but it was so well written and developed and that I also understood why he chose to stay
Am I the only one who found the two step brothers dating still weird? Like I was really dissapointed when they got together, I felt it would've been better if the older one had properly rejected Hayato and moved on or they'd found different love interests, they were so established as a real family that it just felt incesty.
The fact that the older one fell for Hayato also felt a bit rushed, bc he hadn't shown any feelings for him whatsoever until the end...
This is just my personal opinion, but I felt their relationship just ruined the story for me, like it was a cute read but not something that I'd read again ¯_(ツ)_/¯

I'm sure everyone has a favourite manga, and this is mine, I absolutely love this story, 10/10 would read recommend, I won't ever get tired of their relationship :'))

In the beginning We actually see Xixi as a college student.
One day his childhood friend Jian Yi reappear after disappearing on him for three/four years (during their high school year)
Jian Yi claims that he was kidnap by his dad on the first day of high school and was only able to recently escape (not sure if that part was something he just made up at the spot or it actually happen but It definitely has to be related to his father)
then they had a flashback of them in middle school where we are seeing the depth of their friendship and what led up to Jian Yi's disappearance. Note: Jian Yi did get kidnap one already but it was only for a couple days not years yet so we are still in the flashback to learn why he disappear.
wait when did the flashback start? i was under the idea that these was all happening.
So jian yi never went to highschool and came back while xian xi was in college? So all that's happening now is while they're in middle school?? Also if this is true do you reckon we'll see up to the point he leaves so we can understand why he left? If that's right I hope we're eventually shown what happened to jian yi the years he was gone
Chapter 50.
Somewhere in chapters 1-50 it says Jian disappears on the 2nd day of HS. He returns when Zhan is in university. In 161 we have Jian saying he wants to go to the same HS and University as Zhan and during the latest kidnapping he is only gone a few days not years. It doesn't add up. So either 51 onwards is a flashback or there was a reboot.

This is now one of my favourite shounen ai/yaoi, the plot is amazing and light-hearted, and the two side stories (not developed much) and characters are as good as the main ones! Honestly, this is a great read but I wish it would be updated quickly!! And I really wanna see those side stories develop!!
And I knew this was by the mangaka who did the priest one! She is probably my favourite mangakas because she writes so many of the shounen ai/yaoi that I love, like Omairi Desu Yo and Ashita wa Docchi Da!
